Sketches sent. The art director on this (Lily Pereira) decided on the face with the fence across them but to switch the fence out with red tape since the editor wanted to focus on the bureaucratic obstacles for immigrants.
Tight color sketch sent.
Another tight color sketch with art director and editor requested tweaks, to make sure everything is good be I go to final.
They also wanted a spot that would kind of tie in with the cover of the book the article is based on.and that
Because it is referenced visually at the start of the article.
So this was our solution to that.
